The Most Exciting Way to Experience the Snake River — Command Your Own Kayak Through Class III Rapids
What it is: Private whitewater ducky trips on the Snake River where you control your own inflatable kayak through the Class III rapids of the Grand Canyon of the Snake. Dedicated guides provide instruction and custom pacing, with half-day (4.5 hours) and full-day (8 hours) options.
Why it’s special: This is whitewater rafting reimagined—no crowded raft, no passenger seat. Duckies ride low in the water, making Class I–II rapids feel larger and Class III waves like Double Draw, Big Kahuna, Lunch Counter, Champagne, and more feel absolutely mammoth. You feel every wave and make your own lines.
The experience: Hands-on, challenging, exhilarating, and skill-building. Half-day trips deliver concentrated adrenaline; full-day trips combine scenic upper sections with exciting canyon whitewater and include a riverside lunch.
Who’s it for: All abilities—even first-timers—who want a private whitewater adventure. Adventurous kids 8+ can paddle tandem with an adult. No previous river experience necessary; our instructors teach paddling technique, reading whitewater, and tailor the day to your group's abilities.
