What it is: Our 2-day weekend getaway delivers the quintessential Grand Teton experience in a compact timeframe—ideal for those with limited schedules who want authentic backcountry adventure. No previous kayaking experience is required; guides provide instruction and coaching throughout.
What you'll do: Paddle spectacular Jackson Lake with the Tetons rising dramatically from the water, camp at an exclusive wilderness site with front row views of towering peaks, and conclude with a guided Snake River float through Grand Teton National Park.
Why it's special: As the only authorized kayaking outfitter in Grand Teton National Park, we offer access to private campsites and remote shorelines large commercial operators can't reach.
The experience: This is Grand Teton immersion without the multi-day commitment. You'll paddle beautiful waters, camp at a unique site with unobstructed Teton views, enjoy gourmet backcountry meals around the campfire, stargaze under Wyoming's crystal-clear skies, and drift down the Wild & Scenic Snake River past iconic mountain vistas that inspired Ansel Adams. Expert guides provide comprehensive kayaking instruction, fascinating natural history interpretation, and exceptional hospitality throughout your journey. Watch for moose, bald eagles, river otters, and other inhabitants of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem.
Who's it for: All abilities welcome—from first‑time paddlers to weekend warriors or busy travelers—who want a single‑night Jackson Lake overnight plus a Snake River finale. Guides handle gear, meals, and camp so it stays simple and smooth. Private trips welcome kids 5+.

Morning Departure - Meet at our shop at 8:00 AM, then shuttle to Signal Mountain on Jackson Lake (or meet us there if you prefer).
Paddling Instruction & Safety Briefing - Thorough review of kayaking techniques, paddle strokes, safety procedures, and practice before launching. Your guides coach proper posture, efficient technique, and comfortable boat adjustments.
Scenic Paddle to Camp - Navigate 3 -10.5 miles across spectacular Jackson Lake waters with the Tetons towering directly from the western shore. Paddle along shorelines most park visitors never experience. Stop for lunch at a scenic beach with mountain vistas.
Campsite Arrival - Reach your private wilderness campsite reserved exclusively for our guests. Work together to set up camp while absorbing the stunning surroundings.
Afternoon Freedom - Relax at camp, try stand up paddleboarding on the lake, cast a line (fishing license required), explore the shoreline, or simply soak in the incredible Teton views. This is your time to unwind and connect with wilderness.
Backcountry Gourmet Dinner - Your guides prepare a delicious multi-course meal with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. This isn't typical camping food - expect well-balanced, healthy, and surprisingly sophisticated cuisine.
Campfire & Stargazing - Gather around the fire as your guides share fascinating information about Grand Teton National Park and the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. Listen for nature's sounds - waterfalls rushing, wolves howling, or elk bugling. Marvel at spectacular stargazing enhanced by Wyoming's exceptional clarity at 6,700+ feet elevation.
