Before You Go

It depends on your destination, experience, and goals. For Grand Teton lakes: touring or recreational kayaks. For Snake River whitewater: inflatable kayaks or whitewater boats (depending on experience). For families with kids: recreational kayaks or sit-on-tops. For backcountry access: packrafts. Not sure? Call us at (307) 733-2471 and we’ll recommend the perfect boat based on your situation.

For recreational kayaks, touring kayaks, sit-on-tops, and inflatable kayaks on flatwater, no, but basic comfort on water helps. We provide instruction with every rental.
