Slide Lake Paddle Sports Symposium — June 20, 2026
Saturday, June 20, 2026 — 9:00 am to 1:30 pm
Atherton Creek Boat Ramp, Slide Lake
FREE · Open to All · Family Friendly
Join Rendezvous River Sports for our annual Paddle Sports Symposium at Slide Lake — a free community paddle day celebrating National Get Out Paddling Day. Whether you’re a seasoned paddler or stepping into a kayak for the first time, this is your chance to get on the water with expert instruction and the best gear in the valley.
What to Expect
Try the latest recreational, touring, and fishing kayaks along with stand up paddle boards from top brands including Old Town, Starboard, Wilderness Systems, SOL, Hala, Jackson Kayak, Ocean Kayak, and more. Our staff will be on hand all morning to help you find the right boat or board, dial in your fit, and work on paddling technique and water safety.
On-Water Demos & Instruction
This isn’t a boat show — it’s a paddle day. Every demo boat goes in the water. Our ACA-certified instructors will guide you through strokes, bracing, edging, and rescue techniques in a relaxed, supportive environment. Beginners are especially welcome. We’ll have gear sized for kids, too.
