Why Rent With Us
Largest, Most Current FleetWe maintain the Intermountain West’s most extensive rental selection and update our fleet annually. With us, you’re paddling this year’s or last year’s models from top manufacturers, not decade-old boats with questionable maintenance. Quality equipment makes every adventure better.
Our staff includes ACA-certified instructors and guides with decades of local experience. We’ll recommend routes matching your skill level and interests, advise on current conditions, explain shuttle logistics, point out wildlife viewing spots, and share insider knowledge that guidebooks miss.
Every rental includes everything needed for safe paddling: proper-fitting PFDs, quality paddles or oars, necessary safety equipment, roof racks, tie-downs, and basic instruction if you’re new to certain equipment. We outfit you completely, not just rent you a boat.
When you rent with us, you have your equipment for the entire day and can pick up and drop off any time within our business hours. We offer competitive rates with multi-day discounts. Need to extend your rental? Encounter issues on the water? We’re here to support you throughout your adventure, not just at checkout.

Where to GoFrequently Asked Questions
Before You GoFor most equipment, basic paddling competence is recommended but not strictly required for calmer water destinations. We provide instruction on equipment use and safety basics with every rental. For whitewater kayaks, rafts, or challenging river runs, we do require demonstrated experience or completion of our instructional courses. We’ll discuss your background and recommend appropriate equipment honestly. Depending on water levels, some sections of local rivers can be off limits for renters.
All boat rentals include paddles or oars, PFDs for all passengers up to the carrying capacity of the rented craft, spray skirts or splash covers where applicable, basic safety equipment (throw bag with raft rentals), roof rack systems, tie-down straps, and expert advice on routes and conditions. Wetsuits, drysuits, and helmets rent separately as needed. We provide detailed instruction on equipment use.
Reserve online, by phone at (307) 733-2471, or in person at our shop. We recommend booking ahead during peak summer season (June–August) to guarantee equipment availability. Last-minute rentals often work during shoulder seasons. Full payment is required upon reservation, and one person in your party will be required to fill out a waiver before picking up your rental equipment.
While we provide all shuttles for our guided trips and lessons, we do not offer shuttle service for our rentals. However, we can help you access detailed shuttle information for popular river runs including Snake River sections, the Hoback, and others. We will direct you to shuttle companies that you can use to book your shuttle. Our staff knows the access points, timing, and logistics for area rivers. We’ll make sure you understand the full picture before launching.
Normal wear and tear is expected and covered: minor scratches, scuffs, and typical use damage aren’t issues. Renters are responsible for significant damage beyond normal use (major hull damage, lost equipment, etc.). If you’re concerned about potential damage, ask about our damage waiver option at checkout.
No, all of our rentals are full day or multi-day rentals, available to you for pick up and drop off at any point during our normal business hours. If you want to go on a sunset paddle or need your rental for an early morning, you must either rent for two days to cover your bases, or call our shop at (307) 733-2471 to talk about alternative options such as early pickup or late drop-off.
Yes! We offer attractive discounts for multi-day and weekly rentals. Rentals of 3–6 days receive a 10% discount, a week or more receives a 15% discount. This discount is applied automatically to any rental reservation you complete online. Contact us or check our website for current rental rates and multi-day pricing.
Payment in full is due for all reservations. Cancellations more than 48 hours in advance will receive a full refund less a 5% cancellation fee. No refund will be given for late cancellations.
