Rendezvous River Sports Achieves BEST Certification

Rendezvous River Sports has earned Business Emerald Sustainability Tier (BEST) certification from the Riverwind Foundation. The company joins other organizations meeting rigorous and comprehensive environmental, community, and economic sustainability criteria.

Owner Aaron Pruzan stated that the whole team is excited to have earned the BEST certification, which has helped take sustainability initiatives to the next level. The company is committed to reducing waste, lowering energy use, and being stewards of local waterways.

Tim O’Donoghue, Executive Director of Riverwind Foundation, praised the company’s work, highlighting their equipment repurposing, carbon reduction tactics, and community support. He noted that Rendezvous River Sports demonstrates that a recreation business can give back to natural resources while providing jobs and contributing to the local economy.

Rendezvous River Sports offers guided day and overnight trips for paddlers of various skill levels across Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks, and Bridger-Teton National Forest.
