Group Inflatable Kayak Trips

Bringing back Group Ducky trips for 2024! Every morning June 21-Sept 2!

The most exciting way to see the Alpine Canyon of the Snake River!

The tandem Inflatable Kayak, or Rubber Duckie, is a unique and exciting way of going down the river for the whole family.

With no previous experience necessary, inflatable Kayaking is an exciting way to experience the Grand Canyon of the Snake River. These maneuverable, resilient inflatable kayaks offer one of the most exciting ways to ride the river. Duckys ride low in the water making small waves, like in Champagne rapids, larger, and bigger waves like Big Kahuna and Lunch Counter seem mammoth. While no previous river experience is necessary and ducky trips are fun for the entire family, having a reasonable base level of fitness will make your trip more enjoyable.

Our experienced instructors will take you through a thorough equipment check, river safety course, instruct you on the fine art of paddling a duckie, then lead you down through the class III rapids of the Grand Canyon of the Snake River. All equipment and transportation included. If you're not ready for the over, under, and upside down that a whitewater kayak provides, but are tired of lumbering along in a large raft, then the inflatable duckies are the way to go!

Our school fleet are Hyside Padillacs. These boats are top of the line and like their name alludes, very stable.  We have a wide variety of gear to help keep you warm in all weather conditions including drysuits, wetsuits, and splash gear.  There are a couple of items that we suggest that you bring yourself.

Regardless of your trip, we will be on the water so here are some suggested items:

  • Swim Gear or other non-cotton, wicking or, breathable clothing.
  • Water bottle, if it has an attachment that is a plus.
  • Snacks
  • Change of clothing for the takeout
  • Sun protection, glasses, sunscreen, hats ect.,

We also have many of these items for purchase in our full retail store where you will be meeting your instructor.
