Use caution on all rivers. Water levels and potential river hazards are subject
to changes on an hourly basis. It is critical that river users accurately assess
current conditions and their own ability. Always have appropriate clothing,
safety equipment and the knowledge to use it. BE SAFE.

Hello all.
We have just discovered some invasive species in the valley, so please be careful and wash your boats and gear if you have been boating out of the valley, or if you are leaving the valley. I will have more information in the near future.
The snake looks like it might of hit its peak at 22,800 on June 27th. It has been slowly dropping ever since and is staying just around 20,000cfs. This is a super fun level, but it it very pushy can be dangerous if you do not know what you are doing. Three Oar Deal is a nasty hole right now that can hold a raft and swimmers for a long time, but is easily avoided on river right. 18 ft rafts are flipping in Lunch counter and the eddy lines are very powerful and filled with swirly water that will hold a swimmer down for a long time. The whole canyon is super fun, but there are not too many eddy access waves right now. All along the way there are waves to catch on the fly, and Cottonwood has several really good surfing waves in a row. For park and play kings wave is amazing right now and close to town. It is a big breaking wave with eddy access. Go check it out!
The Greys has been slowly dropping from over 4 ft. This level is super fun. Be careful, Snagle Tooth is pushy and there is wood on the right side so check it out on your drive up.
The Gros Ventre came up to over 4 ft and has started to slowly drop and is in the upper 3's. It is super fun and continuous at this level and all of the features have a little more punch. It is not a good place to take a swim right now, there have already been a few lost boats. There is a pinned boat on the rock in just above hermits and as the water drops it should be easier to get. If you pull it off, bring it into the shop and we will return it to its owner. thanks.
The Hoback is just around 5.5 feet. It has some fun play and great eddy's to catch. Both cabin wave and campground wave are really fun and campground wave has eddy access! It is a great play stretch right now if you paddle all of the way down to kings.
If you are into heading over the pass the Teton is around 1900 cfs and has leveled off. This is a very push fun level. The big drops are pushy, and the inbetween water is really fun with some big waves and holes. Keep your heads up.
Bitch creek is also at a good high fun level. Driscal and Z-Slot are both big and the inbetween water is super fun and a little pushy.
If you have any question or can report any river information, give us a call (307)733-2471, write me an email at jon@jacksonholekayak.com, or stop in and say hi. There are always people going boating from here if you need a partner. Wherever you go have fun and be safe, but get out on the water for me!
Cheers,
Jon
