Rafting Overview
The Alpine Canyon of the Snake River is perfect for first-time rafters, families, and seasoned veterans alike. We are the only outfitter in Jackson Hole offering whitewater rafting instruction and we have the only two-man inflatable kayak instruction or "duckie trip". For those who want to take rafting to the next level we offer an instructional rafting trip where everyone in the boat learns about the river and how to guide the raft. We also offer a guided scenic float trip under the majestic Teton mountain range. For those with the desire to try kayaking but who don't have the time to commit to all day lessons, we offer these guided and instructional inflatable kayak trips which are much more stable and way more comfortable and forgiving than conventional kayaks.

Instructional Rafting
We offer a detailed hands-on orientation into the world of rafts, rivers, and rapids, with this self-guided rafting adventure. The trip begins on a beautiful, calm stretch of the Snake River, which is teaming with elk, moose, bald eagles, and osprey. Here our professional boatmen and safety kayakers teach you about river gear, boat equipment, paddling techniques, rowing techniques, and river features while everyone gets the opportunity to guide the raft and have fun on the water.
After a leisurely lunch stop we get geared up for the whitewater! This is where every participant has the chance to use the skills and information he/she has learned thus far. Covering 16 miles of some of the most beautiful scenery in Jackson Hole, and the wildest whitewater in Wyoming, the entire trip lasts about five hours and includes a savory deli-style picnic lunch. Discounts available for large groups using our equipment or your own!

With the magnificent snowcapped Teton mountain range as a backdrop, this is an experience that you will remember for a lifetime. This thirteen-mile stretch of the Snake River is without doubt one of Wyoming's finest. Your float trip will provide you with a multitude of opportunities to observe wildlife in their native habitat. This stretch of river is known as one of the most successful breeding areas for bald eagles in the lower 48 states. Elk, moose, deer, beaver, and river otters are also known to frequent the riverbanks.
Our friendly and professional guides can answer all of your questions about the river, the flora and fauna, rock formations, local history, or any other questions about the area. This trip takes about three hours and departs three times daily: morning sunrise float, afternoon scenic float, or an evening sunset trip. All ages are welcome. We strive to make your trip as educational and enjoyable as possible
